LEADBRIGHT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 LEADBRIGHT Internationale Consultancy Inc. was founded in April 2024 by three  professionals with a shared vision of providing multi-disciplinary consultancy services  that blend legal expertise, academic and research insight, and the practical business  and organizational development knowledge. Recognizing the need for well-rounded solutions in organization, business, and technology, they combined their skills to create a unique consultancy firm.  

The idea for LEADBRIGHT was born through a series of serendipitous conversations  between three professionals with diverse yet complementary backgrounds. It began  when Atty. Chona Leah Cabañero, a well-respected lawyer specializing in corporate,  property and labor law and regulatory compliance, shared her growing interest in  starting a consultancy with Dr. Genelin Ruth Pamplona-James, a longtime university  professor and a research specialist for more than 15 years of experience. Dr.  Pamplona-James recognized a need for comprehensive consultancy services that  would address not only the legal and regulatory needs of clients but also their public  relations and communication strategies, market, business and organization research  especially within the private and government sectors.  

Intrigued by the idea, Dr. Pamplona-James saw the potential to bring her expertise in  strategic research, communication and media to a wider audience outside the  academic world. As their conversations deepened, she envisioned a consultancy that could deliver both practical solutions and powerful communication strategies, bridging gaps she had observed in the industry.  

Around the same time, Mr. Gideon Pedrozo, a seasoned businessman in the field of construction industry, manufacturing, and Agro-Industrial and an experienced  industry training officer, had also been toying with the idea of starting a consultancy.  His dual roles in construction and industry based training had given him insight into  the pressing need for robust industry protocols and risk management solutions  across industry sites. Realizing that many companies struggled to comply with  industry regulations while balancing operational demands, Mr. Pedrozo approached  Dr. Pamplona-James with his vision of creating a consultancy that could support  these firms in achieving safer and more efficient operations.  

Seeing the potential synergy between Atty Cabanero’s legal expertise, Mr. Pedrozo’s  hands-on experience in construction and other industries, and her own background  in business and organization development, Dr. Pamplona-James proposed a meeting  to bring everyone together. During their first discussion, it became clear that each  founder brought a critical perspective that would make their consultancy firm truly  unique.  

With their combined backgrounds in law, research and communication, and  industry-specific business and organizational development, they founded  LEADBRIGHT Internationale Consultancy with the goal of offering a comprehensive consultancy firm that could guide clients through complex regulatory landscapes,  enhance their public image, and foster safe, compliant work environments.  

After laying the groundwork for LBIC, the three founders — Atty. Cabañero, Dr.  Pamplona-James , and Mr. Pedrozo realized that their vision would benefit from a  formal leadership structure to guide strategic decisions and ensure effective  governance. To achieve this, they moved forward with the formation of a Board of  Directors, carefully selecting key roles that would provide strong leadership and  oversight.  

Recognizing each founder’s unique expertise and leadership potential, the initial  Board appointments were chosen based on experience and alignment with LBIC’s  core goals. As a lawyer with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and  corporate governance, Atty. Cabañero was the natural choice for President. Her  expertise in business law and her strong legal acumen positioned her to lead LBIC in  a compliant, ethical direction. As President, she is responsible for steering the  board's strategic vision and ensuring that the firm upholds its mission of delivering  legally sound, comprehensive consultancy services.  

With his hands-on experience in the business development, construction industry  and industry training, Mr. Pedrozo was appointed Vice President. His role  complements Atty. Cabañero’s , by focusing on operational efficiency and industry specific needs. His insights help LEADBRIGHT develop client-centered, innovative  solutions, ensuring that projects run smoothly and comply with relevant industry  standards. As Vice President, he provides oversight on project implementation and  leads the development of industry protocols across LBIC’s consultancy projects.  

To support the Board with structured and effective governance, the founders  appointed Dr. Pamplona-James as Board Secretary and Executive Director. With a  background in strategic planning and organizational leadership, Dr. Pamplona-James  manages board documentation, oversees operational processes, and ensures that  LBIC’s strategic goals are aligned with board decisions. Her expertise in executive  leadership allows her to support daily operations, making sure the board’s objectives  are carried out across the organization.  

The board members collaboratively defined LEADBRIGHT’S vision: to become a  premier firm providing globally valued consultancy services in the Philippines. Under  the leadership of Atty. Cabañero, Mr. Pederozo, and Dr. Pamplona-James, the board  established a roadmap focused on transformational leadership, technological  advancement and efficient management systems. The Board of Directors continues  to meet regularly, refining LEADBRIGHT strategic goals and ensuring that the  company remains true to its mission of Leading through Excellent Advice and  Dynamic solutions in Business Research Institution, Government, Business Health  and Technology from which the name was formulated: LEADBRIGHT. 

With the Board of Directors established and the vision for LEADBRIGHT clearly  defined, the founding team moved forward with the formal steps to legally register  and launch the company. Recognizing the importance of compliance and legitimacy,  Atty. Cabañero, as both President and legal expert, spearheaded the regulatory  process to ensure that LEADBRIGHT met all requirements for operating as a  consultancy in the Philippines.  

With all registrations and permits secured, LEADBRIGHT was ready to operate legally  and thereby launch this firm. These steps established LEADBRIGHT’s reputation as a  credible and compliant consultancy, reinforcing the founders' commitment to  professional excellence and adherence to regulatory standards
